Ryan Seddon
President/CEO and Director
Mr. Seddon comes from a family of builders stretching back from his grandfather to the present. Mr. Seddon holds an Associates degree from Palm Beach Community College and is a Florida state certified General Contractor (CGC), certified Pollutant Storage System Contractor, (PSSC), Certified Mold Remediation Supervisor (CMRS) and a Certified Indoor Environmental Consultant (CIEC). Before starting with Surge in 2001, Mr. Seddon was a managing partner in a telecommunications company.

Rodger Rees
Chief Financial Officer
Rodger Rees has been Chief Financial Officer of the Company since May 2009. From June 2006 to April 2009, Mr. Rees was a financial consultant with Space Coast Business Consultants and Tatum, LLC. While a consultant, Mr. Rees provided financial services to small public and private companies in the real estate, financial services, private equity and marine industries.
While engaged by Tatum, LLC, Mr. Rees provided consulting services to Bonds.com Holdings, Inc., a publicly traded company, and subsequently acted as interim Chief Financial Officer. From May 2005 through May 2006, Rodger E. Rees served as Chief Financial Officer and Secretary of Empire Financial Holding, Inc. (now Jessup & Lamont, Inc.), a publicly traded brokerage, asset management, and investment banking firm.
From February 2001 through April 2005, Mr. Rees served as director of independent broker-dealer services and in January 2004 subsequently became Chief Operating Officer of Empire Financial Group Inc., a subsidiary of Empire Financial Holding, Inc.
From 1985 to 2001, Mr. Rees was Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer and founder of two financial services firms, Buckhead Financial Corporation and Centennial Capital Management, the latter of which was sold to Empire Financial Holdings, Inc. in 2001.
Mr. Rees holds a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in accounting from East Tennessee State University and is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the state of Georgia.

Garry Szyndlar
Vice President Construction Services
Mr. Szyndlar has over 30 years of executive and field experience in construction and development in Florida, Puerto Rico and Massachusetts.
Notable projects include the $250,000,000 El Conquistador Resort Hotel & Country Club in Fajardo, Puerto Rico, Benjamin School Performing Arts Center, Jupiter Yacht Club, Lexus of Pembroke Pines, Martin County Air Traffic Control Tower, Mirasol Community Park, Wackenhut, Tire Kingdom, Prudential Financial, Texaco and Shell Gas Stations and Blue Heron Car Wash, Valvoline Oil Centers, Stonebridge & Atlantis Country Clubs, 1st United Methodist Church.
Starting with an earthwork and utility contractor, Mr. Szyndlar relocated to Palm Beach County with Perini Corporation to build Oceana and Corniche hi-rise Condominiums, 350,000 SF Town Center Mall at Boca Raton, STP Corporate Headquarters and Palm Beach County Criminal Justice Complex. He served as development Director of Construction for the 600 acre Wycliffe Golf & Country Club before founding his construction firm serving as President in 1998.
Mr. Szyndlar holds a Florida unlimited General Contractor license. He served on the Palm Beach County Construction Board of Adjustments and Appeals and is a past member of Associated General Contractors of America, ABC, Building Trades Association and Business Development Board of Palm Beach County.

Derek Hickam
Regional Sales Director
Derek Hickam is the Regional Sales Director for Surge Solutions Group, Inc. In this role, Mr. Hickam leads a team that introduces clients to all aspects of general contracting and petroleum contracting, including the design and construction for commercial projects and retail fueling facilities.
Before joining Surge Solutions Group, Inc., Mr. Hickam earned his BFA from Ohio University and worked for 22 years managing art divisions for large corporations, small business startups, and international chains, overseeing the creation and installation of architectural paintings in multiple locations across America and as far away as Hong Kong. Clients included The Limited (Express, Bath & Body, Structure, and Victoria’s Secret), Planet Hollywood, Disney, New York New York, Bally’s Casinos, and the Michigan Statehouse.
In his position with Surge Solution Group, Inc., Mr. Hickam assists various clients, whether individuals or corporations, private or public sectors, providing presentations that are clear and concise, with timelines offered to guide the customer from conception to completion.
